Let's get lost

A new day, a new month, new opportunities ahead. The fever is gone, and with it the bad weather of the last couple of days. Just over a month left before I go on leave, and it feels great. I can't wait to meet all my friends and family, and to first run in the Swedish mountain wilderness, and later in warmer climates.

I will almost certainly get lost today. It's a beautiful day, the forest is calling, and since I have to run to town and meet J later, I'll cut through Änggårdsbergen, one of the city's many nature reserves. It offers a myriad of paths and not nearly enough signs. I've gotten lost there before, exiting the reserve almost as soon as I entered. Even though it's close to where I live, I have only been there a couple of times, mainly because I have to run 3-4km by a heavily trafficked road and an industrial area to get there. The prospect is not that appealing.

Today I'm setting a couple of hours aside for what will most likely become an adventure. I plan on taking it easy, taking lots of pictures and allowing myself to get lost. What better way to explore?
